New Zachary Quinto Interview Reveals Softer Side of Sylar
Comic Book Resources recently caught up with Zachary Quinto on the set of Heroes where he was filming a `flash forward` scene which seemed to involve a kinder, gentler Sylar.
`There`s a softer side to my character in this episode,` said Quinto. `This is an alternative sort of reality. As our show does and has done in the past, you catch glimpses of time that may or may not actually come to fruition but are possibilities. Episode nineteen of Season One was called ˜Five Years Gone,` and that whole episode was based on that premise. This episode has elements of that and my character is involved in those elements.`
The scene, in which Quinto was dressed in khakis and a button-down shirt, will air as part of the fourth episode of Season 3. In the scene, he will use the ability of painting the future, which he stole from artist Isaac Mendez in Season 1, in order to prove something to himself. He will also have a son in this `alternate future.` Yes, you read that right. A son!
ZQ didn`t elaborate on who the child`s mother might be but he did say the boy is `gifted` and revealed that his son`s name is Noah. (Noah? As in Bennet? What the )
Zach assured CBR that present-day Sylar won`t be soft at all. He`ll be just as sinister as ever but will face some internal conflicts that we haven`t seen from him before.
